OUR SIGNATURE TOUR – Explore Mother Nature in its real habitat, the Monkey River Jungle and Manatee Watch Tour is an incredible adventure for all ages, especially nature lovers. Your journey begins with a scenic 30 to 40-minute boat ride along the Southern Shorelines and through the mangroves from Placencia to Monkey River Village. Once you arrive at Monkey River, you will slowly head down the river which will take you deeper into the lush rainforest. As you travel down the river, be sure to keep your eyes open for the wildlife, such as the famous howler monkeys, crocodiles, turtles, and birds, that sometimes like to hang out along the riverside. Once you arrive at the entrance of the trail, you will navigate through the rainforest on a flat trail walk lasting approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Your knowledgeable/experienced tour guide with his bird eyes will spot these howler monkeys, birds, bats so be ready to enjoy that moment with him. You will also learn about the medicinal plants, flora, and fauna. On the way back to Placencia, there will be a stop in the lagoon area to do the viewing of the manatees from the boat. This tour offers the perfect blend of relaxation and exploration, providing an unforgettable experience in Southern Belize!

Deposit Policy – Ocean Motion Tours requires a non-refundable 50% down payment upon booking of tour(s) for confirmation. The final payment of the tour(s) is due within forty-eight (48) hours prior to departure of the tour(s).
Cancellation Policy: To cancel a tour, you must notify Ocean Motion Tours twenty-four (24) hours before the departure time; otherwise, you will be charged the full price of the excursion(s). Ocean Motion Tours reserves all rights to postpone or cancel tours prior to departure time if the weather or other conditions may make the tour(s) unsafe. If Ocean Motion cancels a tour for these reasons, only then will a refund be issued.
