He is the BEST tour guide, funny and knowledgeable about medicinal plants, the
villages and Belize history. We really like that Ocean Motion is family owned and Belizean. Our
lunch was at a Mayan buffet that had so many unique dishes, fresh fruit juices and ice cream.
Really really recommend it. We also did a Monkey River tour and it was very interesting. Lovely
family, his brother Brett was on that tour and the daughters run the neat clothing store with nice
bathing suits attached to the tour building. They also make milkshakes 😜
I have used Ocean Motion twice for private tours to see the Mayan ruins in Belize and a day trip
to Guatemala. Shamir is an excellent driver and guide!!! I would highly recommend Ocean
Motion Tours while in Placencia.
Did a snorkeling tour with Sonny and had the best time. He caught us a big baracuda for lunch,
along with the rest of the meal he prepared beforehand. Everything was delicious. He paid
special attention to everyone making sure we all kept up in the water and we were all safe and
learning. He taught us about all the different fish species. He even helped me get some awesome
underwater videos and photos of the turtles, sharks and stingrays. Definitely recommend Ocean
Motion and especially Sonny!
